So far I've read 3 books in this series and in the span of three books, poor Reno has already lost his father, his brother, his son (that he apparently didn't even know he had), his mother and his sister, with another in the hospital fighting for her life, and a brother-in-law. I'm glad they at least introduced more family for him in the form of 2 cousins. I already don't care for Sal, the racist. I believe it was book 2 that he referred to someone as a "tar baby". Yeah, I'm cool on him. I love Tommy tho. He's sexy, knows how to get things done and he and his girlfriend came through to help take care of business. Looking forward to reading more about Tommy. This was an interesting read with non stop drama and twists and turns. I didn't see it coming with who was really behind the shooting at the Palargio. I'm really enjoying this series so far.Product details

I love this series. I have maybe 20 books. They cost way to much to read them all.
I love Godfather movies and I love Interracial romance novels put them together and you get the Mob Boss series. Everytime I read one of these books I always think two things, one this has got to be the last book and two I cannot believe the book is over. I love the action and the feeling that you never know where the characters are going or what will happen. I have read other books from this author and did not like them however Mob Boss is a "Hit" with me. And I know now not to assume there will not be a Mob Boss 4. Because this author makes writing sequels seem very easy and also necessary.
The 3rd installment was good but it didn't touch the first two books. I was expecting more of Katrina and Reno but ended up with some of cousin Tommy's story. It was okay but it took away from the main characters of the story. Also, I didn't think Reno was as intense in this installment as he was in the first two books. I didn't feel Reno's over-protective, borderline obessive love he had for Tree. It almost made me forget what type of man he was. Like the other reviewers, I'm waiting for the 5th installment of The President's Girlfriends. Now those books are nothing but a glorious ROLLERCOASTER ride! An I can wait to get on the ride again.
I read all three books to this series in one day and loved it Ms Monore knows how to bring a climatic end to an amazing tale. Reno and Trina's love is tested yet again and Tommy is a return favorite with a love of his own. Someone real calculating is after the Gabrinis now promising more death. Reno just wants to atone for all the wrong he has done but when his sister does the unthinkable he fears another war would be on. After more tragedy loss Reno Trina Tommy and his girl Shanks sets out to find the culprit only to find that the source of all the pain is Reno and the one person who feels he should pay is closer to him then anyone ever thought. Kudos to the final installment.
Ms. Monroe did a fantastic job again!! I could not wait to finish reading the book! The connection that Reno has with his wife "Tree" is absolutely beautiful. I had wondered how this author was going to continue the Gabrini Saga, well, she did not disappoint her readers. I know that in the series some of the characters believe that Tommy is better looking than Reno. Maybe, but, I would still love to have Reno, a huge alpha male in my bed!!! I like Shawnies character a lot, she is perfect for her man! The twist in the story will leave you sitting there asking yourself a question,"How far would you go for love". Ms. Monroe, I cannot wait for you to come out with another wonderful story, great job!!
I guess when I started reading a Mallory Monroe book long ago, I didn't notice the errors because they don't take away from the stories, because they are that good, I really love anything that has to do with Tommy Gabrini...I am backtracking now just to see his love with Shanks, and I have to say I loved this book as well as number eleven in the series, worst MM book, Tommy Gabrini number four, not cause of the errors and writing, just because of all the pain she loves to see Tommy in! Hopefully it will get better for my guy, recommended read for those that don't know.
I loved every single book in the Mob Boss Series. The main character, Dominic "Reno" Gabrini, has the perfect blend of devotion, charm, macho and caring with the exact dose of humor that a hero should have. He loves his work, his family, his friends and, especially, his Katrina with a passion that gives life meaning and fulfillment. I stumbled across Romancing the Mob and in less than 10 days, I'd read every book in the series. My only regret......he's just a character in a book. Where is my real life Reno! Try to read them in sequence, but if you don't, it's no big deal. Mallory Monroe does a great job of weaving a tale that you can follow.
