I'm a huge Walt Disney World fan and love all things Disney. Since I live in NY I don't visit the parks more than once a year, and as such miss out on a lot of things. Therefore, I thought Mr. Yee's 'Earbook would be perfect for me, but its production values leave a lot to be desired.The book itself is of decent quality, considering the price. The paper stock is not glossy, however, so photos can look a bit washed out.
The layout is basically a bunch of photos with a little text describing the event. There's just no design flair for how the photos are laid out, or for the composition of the photography. It's as if your uncle the engineer was showing you photos and describing his recent trip to Disney. You'll get a lot of factual information, but it's not very engaging.
All in all... the material is here, it just needs to be presented in a better manner.

Kevin Yee is a great Disney author and I live his books about hidden information. I'm always looking to learn more about what makes "The World" go 'round. Keep 'em coming Kevin.

This is an excellent resource for anyone who likes to track the changes at Disney World. This series dates back a few years. It's fun to see just how quickly things at Disney World can change.
Not only does this book give you the photos and events through the year, it also has an almanac in the back so you can see a snapshot day. That shows you the ticket price, schedule, and a number of other things. Just over the course of three years you can see how prices go up, and shows get swapped out.
